We aim to dispatch all orders as fast as possible, usually within 1-3 working days of receiving your order.
Orders are sent via Royal Mail parcel service or via our courier for larger orders. We have a standard UK postage and packaging price of £3 for parcels and £6 for courier service.
Postage is also available to Europe, USA, Canada, Australia, New Zealand and Singapore. We deliver through the Royal Mail Standard International service and prices are based on the weight of the order. All delivery prices will be calculated at checkout, based on the shipping address and the weight of the items ordered. To comply with postage regulations we may send items in more than one parcel. For postage outside of these countries please email the shop to order.
When pre-ordering an item for European and International delivery, any additional products included in the same order may be reserved and delivered in the same parcel when the pre-ordered item becomes available.
All orders are processed in the order in which they are received. Sometimes a product can go out of stock with us at our shop before we are able to update this on our website. In this instance, we will contact you to explain this and advise you of the steps we are taking to fulfil your order. In the majority of cases we are able to source additional copies but it may delay your order, particularly if you have ordered a signed copy. We will always keep you updated and if we are unable to source additional stock within an acceptable timescale we will refund your order.
In some instances, we may ship your order in more than one delivery. This will be the case if your order includes a pre-order title. For any pre-order title the product listing will state when we will be dispatching pre-orders.
For larger orders, we reserve the right to contact you before the dispatch of your order if we find the postage cost is significantly more than our standard charges.
Collect in store
Our website offers the option of collection ‘in store’ from The Book Nook. Orders can be collected during our normal opening hours.
After placing an order, you will receive an email communication from us acknowledging that we have received your order.
You will receive a further email communication to confirm your order has been dispatched.
